The Marcy-Newberry Association is a Methodist-supported social service center that has a long history of providing services to residents of the Near West and West Side of Chicago. The collection documents the administration and programs of the Marcy Center, Maxwell Street Market, the Chicago Federation of Settlements, and the Community Fund of Chicago through correspondence, reports, memos, minutes, financial records, articles, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photographs, negatives, and slides.
